Firstly: Scientific Council Committee

Members:

Committee Tasks:

• Supervise the progress of the educational, research, development and quality process of the department's courses.
• Recommending to the Faculty Council the appointment, secondment, assignment, scholarship, and promotion of faculty members, teaching assistants, and lecturers.
• Submitting a proposal to the College Council on the plan of community service programs provided by the Scientific Department.
• Submitting a report to the Faculty Council on the conditions of the scholarship students in their studies, after the passage of half of the scholarship period
• Follow-up of the study plan of the courses within the department.
• Consider what the College Council, its President, or its deputies refer to it for study and opinion.

Secondly: Study Systems and Plans Committee for the Department of Internal Surgical Nursing

Committee Tasks:

• Considering the development of the characteristics of the courses in the department.
• Studying all proposals submitted to it to improve the quality of courses in the department and completing the necessary procedures in this regard.
• Providing opinion and advice on everything that would improve the quality of the courses in the department.
• Supervise the preparation of course reports at the end of each semester, study the achievement of course learning outcomes, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the courses, and suggestions for improvement and proposed changes from the course professors (if any), and submit them to the department council for appropriate recommendation.
• Reviewing and developing courses and their descriptions with the reference of the reference framework adopted at the university.

Thirdly: Exams Committee

• Review the tests in the department and ensure the quality of the questions and their coverage of the course and learning outcomes
• Send it to the Examinations and Control Unit of the College
