Mission

The Bridging Nursing Program aims to empower learners to pursue a career in nursing by providing education, research opportunities, and community service, all while incorporating cultural and religious values to address society's healthcare needs effectively.

Objectives

1. Equip nursing technicians with the necessary skills and knowledge to transition into competent graduates capable of working as professional Saudi nurses across various healthcare settings.

2. Empower students to utilize research principles and evidence-based practices to improve the quality of nursing care, patient safety, and clinical decision-making.

3 Foster collaboration among healthcare providers to enhance clients' health and well-being.

4. Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student and faculty engagement in community involvement as well as curricular and extracurricular activities.

Admission Requirements for the Nursing Bridging Program at the College:

• The applicant must be a Saudi national, have a Saudi mother, or be the wife of a Saudi citizen with children from him.
• Possession of a specialized nursing diploma is required.
• Full-time enrolment is mandatory throughout the bridging program.
• Valid professional classification and registration decisions from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties are necessary upon program entry.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience is a prerequisite.
• Applicants holding intermediate university degrees or diplomas from outside the Kingdom must obtain an equivalency decision from the Certificate Equivalency Committee at the Ministry of Education. The certificate must be authenticated by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Successful completion of a medical examination is compulsory.
• The applicant must not be registered in any other university or educational institution.
• The applicant must not have been expelled from the university academically or disciplinary, or from any university, college or institute.
